[iloveblog7.20] Self-discovery.

二千八年 (夏)
髪が短かった時に

You're a little lost
I'm a little lost
You
who'd see me everywhere
sees all in me.
I am not lost to you
nor are you lost to me.

I'm a lot like my
PAPA PANDA
c:

Self isn't something
that can be suddenly found or realized
It's being created by it's makers
"Us"
that is.

[iloveblog7.19] 思念;Nostalgia

This is my Monga.
This is (one of) my home(s).

Nostalgia is a state of mind
It keeps me grounded
It's where I can always go and blend right in.
So even when I'm far away
I'm not really far at all
Because I carry home around,
with me in my heart.
The other day
I decided to googlemap the neighborhood I grew up in Taiwan.
I became instantly ecstatic.
As cold nostalgia chilled me to the bone The silence isn't so bad I'll sit on the front porch all night Waist deep in thought because When I think of you I don't feel so alone.
我的艋舺街頭
沒有LED燈
只有一顆一顆的老電球

When violet eyes get brighter
And heavy wings grow lighter
I'll taste the sky and feel alive again

As many times as I blink
I'll think of home

tonight.

[iloveblog7.18] 迷戀;Obsession

Chocolate St. Honore
probably the best thing I've eaten
in my 18 years of existence.

Obsession lies in the state of mind
when we are persistent on some sort of idea, image, or desire.
(so says dictionary.com)

In my case
I have an obscure obsession towards
inanimate objects that i own.

I truly believe that over time
affection towards these motionless things
can substantially grow
(into something of value)

Hence
I am extremely attached to my
Cookie Family
(which consists of my laptop, camera, phone, other electronic devices etc.)
and
everything else that I own.

Mama made me practice my handwriting
ever since I knew how to hold a pencil.
She said I would grow up to be as good/bad looking
as my handwriting would be.
I was mortified.

I wish
I were as attached to my inanimate things
comparatively to animated things.

Like people around me.

Hi, I'm supa-glue.
Nice to meet you.
(attach as we shake hands)
